I Used to Ride My Bike…
I used to ride my bike…a lot. My motivations were varied. I rode to get somewhere, to get away from something, to outdo myself, to pass up someone in front of me, to outdo someone on my tail, to find meaning in life, to change the world, to find myself.
Then I discovered the Center of Light and a real spiritual teacher, and my whole world changed. I no longer found it necessary to get anywhere or to get away from anything. I learned…and more importantly, discovered…that everything that meant anything was already inside of me. There was no one to outdo and the meaning was in the moment, if I simply opened my eyes to what was right in front of me. I was taught to open my eyes…and then I found my Self, God inside of me…and then I discovered the most profound way to change the world was to begin right there.
Now I ride my bike simply because I can, and I direct the Colorado Peace Ride because it was gifted to me to do. CPR is about inviting others to ride…not to get away from or to get to…but simply to be whatever one feels inspired to Be in the moment…and to ride consciously aware of how this simple act of Being has the power to transform everything. www.ColoradoPeaceRide.com
